WEll after taking some time and thing about it I just made a grill tech grill work with the OEM fog lights. I did try them over the lights but since the lower grill tapers out I would have had some huge gaps at the end of the grill and I would have had to design a riser in the center. So I used a dremel tool and cut it and made it fit. I am just not to sure should I paint it black or not? I got the grill used on this board for I think it was $25 shipped so it was worth the experemnt.

I think I may be the first to do this so if you have any questions please PM me and I will help if you want to try it.

Now I am trying to think gloss for flat black. I know I am going to get the Rustolum because it makes a good coat like a plastic coating. Now my condencer will not take the hits it has been and it does make it look more finished. I may leave it silver for a little just to see if I like it, but I was thinking black before I installed it but thought I would try silver first.

Think it would cost much to powder coat it at a normal shop? I am thinking that would hold up better then paint.

Cost too much.
And You will need to get rid of that rubber piece around the grill edge.
Rubber will melt during powdercoating process.

Well the rubber pulls right off. It is like weather striping. I guess I will just get some good black paint to do that.

thanks for the link. where did you cut it? on the passenger side?

I had to cut it on both sides since the sides are round in shape and for this they had to be a stait cut. I did have to round off the corners a little to get the edging to rap around the grill right.
