how do people with a JDM engine pass emissions test? just curious.

thats the only way i've heard of people with the k20a passing emmissions.

whats so smog unfriendly about the k20a? and how many points does it f-up on the sniffer? do you think itll pass nevada emissions?


The way my friends do it is they move to Hawaii, their emissions are the least restrictive and why ppl actually drive RHD CTR's out there. But other than shipping it way the freak out to hawaii every 3 years i dont know

Yeah, sorry about that. You guys got it really hard :( They are difficult here to cause of our smog problem, so finding someone who can help is very hard and sometimes very costly.

sorry for bringing a dead thread up but hawaii doesnt have emissions. we got safety check. making sure every little safety device works. blinkers, lights, horn, seat belt, etc
