I just got a new dc header but it hasn't been installed yet. Is it easy, I mean my friend does have a lift. We did the exhaust and cai easily but is it easy to get up into the engine to where the header bolts are? Will I notice any improvement? Thanks guys.

It's not that difficult. The hardest part is removing the header bolts as they're in a difficult spot to reach. Use lots of PB lube and a breaker bar if you have one. Make sure the car has been sitting for a while. You never want to do any exhaust work on a hot car as the possibility of burning yourself is high.

Your high end will noticeably improve. 4500 rpm + was pretty nice once I put in my Cheap-o HP.

Check out this link to another incredibly helpful site.Link to the install here! (http://www.k-series.com/tech_detail.php?Tech_ID=DC_EP3_HEADER)

Here as well! (http://www.k-series.com/tech_search.php?application=EP3&car=H_CIVIC_SI_03)

Def a great site. Be sure to surf around as it's very well done, maintained and informative. One of my daily visits :)

I strongly reccomend getting some liquid wrench for the bolts on the bottom end of the header. Mine rusted up so bad they snapped off.
