if ya didn't notice i have no windshield :) i decided to take it out for the summer, better cooling. j/k i had to replace it due to a huge crack from a rock. it was covered under insurance and they came to my house. great job only took about 40 mins to do.

My friend used to have a VW bug and we drove around one day with no windshield, just out sunglasses.:cool: It was interesting, I was sitting shotgun and I had my feet up on the dash, outside the car.:D

it took safelite 3 times to get the glass right. the first time i went there, they had a wrong year hatchback windshield, the seond time they came out to my house and had a 2002 coupe windshild. Third time was the charm and they had the correct year and model windshild. it is o much nicer with out a huge crack it developed this winter. It is by Pilkington (sp?) I think they make landrover and ford glass as OEM.

Actually removing your windshield kills your aero so performance sucks. Your car acts like a big wind scoop, unless of course you also remove your hatch. ;)
