I need help with a dash light?

Ok yesterday, while I was washing my car, I decided to clean out my engine compartment a little. I did not get any water or anything on any of my engine or electronics, but I did un-plug the oxygen sensor to my Injen SRI. The stupid thing I did was un-plug it while the ignition was on

hmmm.. I always thought to reset the ECU, you unplug the + connection to the battery and leave that off for a few minutes...

Try disconnecting your battery for about a minute. That will alow your ecu to reset. But then you'll have to enter in your radio security code for your stock deck if you have one.

removing the 15a fuse that is under the hood, is the best way to clear the cel.

also, if you want to find out what the cel is, if you can, since you say it's not on when you turn the car to on.

try this

under the dash of the steering wheel to your right you will see this:
http://home.comcast.net/~rsxmachine/info/CEL/DLC-SCS.jpg

Jump number nine and 1 with a wire
http://home.comcast.net/~rsxmachine/info/CEL/DLC.gif

then turn the car to on, don't start, then count the flashes.

The pattern of flashes indicates a one- or two-digit numeric code. The first digit of the code is represented by long flashes. The second digit of the code is represented by short flashes. A zero is represented by a brief pause. For example, four long flashes followed by five short flashes is code 45. One long flash followed by a pause is code 10.
When you find out what the code is, go here to see what it reads out to

Thanks, this is really good information. BTW, I have not tried to jumper the com port yet. But if I just turn my car to "on" but not start it. All of the lights on the dash come on (no-biggie) but then after I wait for about 20 seconds the (CEL) flashes 5 times then entirely goes out like it should. All I want to know if someone could turn their car to "on" wait for about 30 seconds, then let me know if theirs does the same. Otherwise I will have to make a trip to the dealer.
