what about if i have jackson racing header, 5zigen muffler,hondata,aem v2 intake,performance tire, lowered,bodykit,would i able to get atleast 14.7???

the reason i'm asking is that i wanna know if i'll go bolt on or supercharge. i dont think i'll go turbo or swap. my goal is 14.0---14.2....if i can get this with just bolt on then i'll go for it and no need to buy supercharge right away,otherwise i'll just add supercharge then bolt on later. what ever is cheaper and who ever goes the fastest to get to low 14 second.

bodykit will have no effect on quarter mile times. :D

are you just lowered, or do you have a suspension setup that is tuned for performance? just lowering a car can actually hurt acceleration if not done right.

You can't get low 14's on an a3 without FI or a big shot of nos and your probably gonna need some weight reduction


If you can run low 15's without FI your doing good

CAI, Header, full exhaust, ES Motor mounts, IM heatshield gasket, shortshifter, Hondata reflashed ecu, remove backseat and spare tire and whatever else you can gut out or replace with something lighter, run on stock tires at about 25 psi up front and go to a track that's on sea level and make sure the temp outside is 70 degrees or lower. And even with all that, it won't guarantee 14.5 but you'll be pretty damn close. :cool:

all u need is a k20a2 swap.
that's all i got and i run 14.7, but i am over 350 lbs myself.
as for mods, just a $40 CAI and 2.25 midpipe....oh yea and a slipping clutch.

theres no drag race track here.......so i dont know what's my quartermile unless if i have time to visit my friend cousins and uncle in sandiego this summer then i'll find out what i can do in quartermile. anyway, his uncle work in a "shop" i think his the one who's doing those ....you know , when they check your car and he'll say if your car past....i dont know what's it's called since they dont do this to my car......

You need a flux compasitor. It will get you a hell of alot of speed. You will hit 0-80 in no time. Like a flash..;)

18 racing hart rims with 215 yoko paradas

What next:
I have my megan test-tube and motor mounts waiting for installation hopefully with those I be in the 14.8-9 ish

Still saving for the Hondata and 2 light-weight racing rims with drag radial or super performace tires. hoping to do low 14s with those

No, no, no. The flux capacitor didn't give the De Lorean speed, it just made time travel possible. And it needs to get up to 88 mph, not 80. Sheesh, go watch the movie again!;)

What do you mean?
Is it because of the camber?

I ask this because I wanna put Eiback sportline 1.4" 1.5" of drop and I thought I will have a better acceleration because of the aerodynamism!
