I have 215/45 now and someone told me the skinnier tire won't fit.

Sure it will...only thing is, your wheel will probobly stick out beyond the tire...can you say curb rash? :'( Won't kknow forsure till you try...it should fit ok but the 215 will fit better...
p.s. why move to a narrower tire?

Tires will fit with no problem. 205 will accelerate faster,better handling(w/7.5")and there's a slight chance of better MPG.

I just love the look.

I went conservative on my last car with the 45 series meat.

It worked out well but I still ended up popping one maybe two tires if I remember correctly.

On this one my wheel is so wide that I don't think I'm going to be able to get any tuckage. So to drop correctly I'll need a 40 series to bring me closer to the ground.

Also 17 with 45 series meat feels awkward on this car. So I hope to be more effeicient also.

I wonder what the difference in weigh is.

OEM=38 lbs.(tire &whl.)(read it on another thread).
205 probably lighter than the 215(depends on the brand & tire model).
What's your new wheel weight?

I'm not sure but they aren't a lightweight or anything.

They are probably in that 19-20lbs per wheel category.

They are alt 191 sometimes called superfins

they look alot like the rims that come on that new rsx performance package.

Anybody got the hook up on tires?

Try the tire maker's URL they sometimes list tire weights.
