I will be installing my Mugen Suspension today and had a couple of questions. The service manual says to use the ball joint remover, but a buddy of mine said i can just loosen the nut on the tie-rod end ball joint almost all the way down to the last threads and hit it with a mallet and it will pop off. Is this safe? Also on the front assembly do i need to replace the damper pinch bolts or can i use the ones i took off? Thanks for any help.
