one of them i saw has a skunk 2 exhaust. thats weired to think something made less than a mile from me ended up on a type r. alot of people are knocking my 04 headlights i like em but i feel gyped now that i see those. i would gladly have paid 23-25 for that thing

The CTR's are available here, but I don't see people plopping down close to $30K for a gray market ones. That is EVO VIII and WRX STi territory, without the 4WD or 300 hp. Even if Honda sold them legally, they would have to be in the mid $20K region. Are you (not you personally, but all of CTR wishers) willing or capable of paying that? The car has optional A/C, no radio, no sunroof. That is the price of TSX, which is a version of Accord type Euro R, with more luxury, goodies and fatter torque. TSX wagon would kick some ass here, and be a real competition to Si hatchback for room, power and luxury in the same price range, around $25K

As it is Honda is having hard time selling Si's for $16-$17K, RSX-S are not exactly flying off the shelves either. It is a business they are in, demand creates market. If Si's sold like hot cakes Honda would probably think about bringing CTR, but they are not.

its probably been said before but honda could make bank if they gave us a type r looks wise and left the motor as a a3. then they could price it 19-21 for it and wouldnt hurt the type s sales. of course they would have to give it a gay name like a hfpr package or something.

Type R's are nice and all, but its still a civic. I wouldnt ever buy a type r for the money that would want for it. You can get the CTR, i will get the STI:rolleyes:
