hey guys

in a bit of a bind.... our family has 2 cars right now ... ML430(2002) and SiR(2002) ... we need 3 cars and the plan is:
trade SiR -> Audi A4 3.0
pickup 98' EK hatch also

the Audi and EK would be mine and my dads to share ... should i go for it??

EK is a good choice, lots of options. Also down the road you can get the mount kit and get an A3 motor dropped in it. Since B16,B18,H22, etc. Will be harder to come by and be more expensive.

Depends on how old you are (how much longer you plan on staying with the parents).
If I was moving out in a year or so, I wouldn't do it because I'd know I'd go from ep to ek while daddy kept the A4 for himself :( But it sounds like you share cars anyway, so why not get the most ya can :cool:

yea i agree...i think you should do it...the EK is a great civic and you can do some cool transplants with it.

Thats a tough one. I wouldn't want the ek tho... rather get the em. At least you'll be running with a decent engine and they are pretty cheap right now.

The A4 will spend a good deal of time in the shop. :eek: Good luck though if that's what you really want. ;)

Your call, I like both. Though I lean way more for the Civic Hatch.

unless you're getting the EK for cheap and want to do a lot of work get an integera,

civic d16, small front disc, rear drum, no rear sway, no tach

integra, B18B or B18c1, bigger front disc, rear disc, rear sway, tach

etc... the integra is a better base to build off (to save time, money and trouble)

and w/a B18B, you can swap a VTEC head on, ITR cams, LSD, etc....

options and options, have fun.

or get a 1997 delSol DOHC-VTEC w/a B16a3 :)
