No it wont fit, your 5 lug braking system will be in the way, you could modify it to fit though, but you'd have to change your exhaust bearing and blinker fluid every 5,000 miles to compensate for the additional stress associated with the CAI.

Does it work better? It looks like it's getting alot of hot air from the engine.

Better than stock? Yes.
Better than CAI? No.

But the difference is so little that you can hardly notice it.

Of course I am a noob, but I thought the AEM V2 WAS a CAI. I am so confused.

Nope! The most generic are Short Rams, CAI's and aftermarket airbox's... The AEM V2 is neither of these. Essentially it is a Short ram bred with a CAI... Better gains that a short ram, without the hydrolock risk of a CAI... CAI still PWNDZ JOO...

200 is a good price for the v2

i bought it for the ease of installation and to not have to worry about hydrolock. granted, it takes a lot to hydrolock a motor, but if i let my parents or g/f or friend drive my car, and they didn't know about it, then i'd be pretty pissed if it happened.

don't expect much as far as gains go. first off, its just an intake, you'll feel a little bit from it, but don't expect a huge difference. the v2 sits right near the radiator hose and gets VERY HOT. it is a loud intake since it sits right next to the firewall, so in the cabin, it sounds pretty loud. its a very mean agressive sound, but you'll get that out of most intakes.

installation is a breeze, and from what i've heard, installing a CAI for the first time is around a 3 hour task and involves a lot of twisting around and scratching up the intake (although you won't see the scratches once installed).

if you buy it, i'm pretty sure you'll be happy with it from the sound alone. just don't expect some sort of monster gain out of it.

I've got an AEM CAI (ture CAI) on my EP, but installed a bypass valve w/ it. Will this prevent hydrolock? Thanks.
