my maintenance required light started flashing when i started my car....flashed for a while and then went off....i have 48,000 miles on my 02.....anyone know what that means....thanks

its telling you that you need maitenance soon. the same thing should have happend to you when you hit 15k 22k 30k the manual tells you how to shut it off

any specific type of maintenance? is it the maintenance that is specified in the manual for 40-50,000 miles? thanks

open the manual and check

don't trip... 60k maintenance is nothing but oil, fluids, brakes, check the belts, and 44 point inspection. nothing major that you can't do at home... and that's the one they say you don't wanna miss too :rolleyes:
