Honda to launch new Civic Type S in Europe. The model will be luxury oriented and based on the current 5 door Civic. Power will come from the 2.0 i-VTEC unit of the NA Civic Si (2.0 160Hp).

I personally dont like the 4 ( or is it 5) door model.
But on the flip side of this, it alows the European tuners to develope parts for our cars. Also US tuners will be able to broaden thier market:) . This is a good thing!

I hope they do bring it over. It will ensure a healthy aftermarket for our cars - I'm sure the parts will be mostly compatible - and probably boost resale value too!

People need to get used to our styling so we can bring over that 5-door. Most European countries have that and no 3 door. At least the ones I've been to recently... Bring it over Honda!
