Custom Molded Headlight

Hey guys, well I am in the process of setting up overseas distributors for various products and wanted to know everyones thoughts on custom molding new headlights for us. The company I am speaking with can pretty much do any design we want. I just wanted some info on what everyone is looking for. Thanks

Yes they are nice and replicas of those would be cheaper. I will contact them and pass along the info. What does everyone else think of that idea ?

Those look really good on the accord and I like to see how they would look on an EP and 04's aren't bad either. With a small market like ours, I'd like to know what kind of pricing to expect though.

i actually like that headlight in the frist post. i am not a fan of the projectors that are black on the insdie. i think this would fit the ep3 a bit better. just make that chrome part a smoked chrome like the 02-03 ctr headlights

Yes I know they are not ep3 headlights, I am just giving everyone an idea of the work they do .

The lights look pretty good. A couple of recommendations though, if you could incorporate an H4 bulb into the design that way those of us with retro fit hid kits could still use them and it wouldnt require any rewiring. Also, if you could make the inner houseing a dark chrome like the JDM CTR HID lights.

i would buy them if they are black or black chrome housing and as long as they will fit a 02-03 without modification... also would prefer sae/dot approval, or at least just have it on the lamp:D

Yes that is what I am getting from people, everyone loves them. I will be buying a case of each. Maybe some others. As for the lights they told me they can do whatever I want, but they are overseas so it will take some time. I also spoke with a suspension manufacturer today about 36 way adjustables for our car. I know we have them already but I am looking for other options for us possibly cheaper too. Correspondence is slow but I hope to have some samples in the near future.

I would like those in black chrome like the HID jdm headlights. Not the regular light tinted chrome ctr lights.

That wouldn't work on our car... at least not on the 02 and 03's. Our H4 bulb has both the low and high beams in the same bulb. It would have to be 1 prjector, im dont think it would have to be huge ... i was thinking of trying to do this myself over the summer when i have some spare cash for some headlights.

I am in the process now finally, picking up some headlights to send to them. I will ask for two prototypes , one for h4 headlights, and one for projectors. When I recieve them I will post pics and allow the mob to decide .

What is most importnat to me is to have a standard projector hole, so that those of us who want to put in an HID projector can gut out whatever you include in the light and install our own.

For those of you crying about h4, it takes about $.80 at auto zone to buy an h4 male plug and then you can accomodate any number of lights you want. Hell, I'll even make them!

Ok I just purchased a headlight from ebay (cost me only $50 total with shipping) I will be sending this out to the designer as soon as I get it. So far minimum requirements for them are the headlights must hold H4's and have black chrome inners. I will wait and see what they come up with and I will be more than happy to show the designs to people to get some opinions. I cannot however put those images online. Mike (Type-X) and Dave (Black02Si) should be able to help in making a decision for the masses.
