Well it's a bitch. Actually I am not sure. I attempted to install the JDM CTR HID's, and I can tell you they are not plug and play. I am awaiting a harness, and if it is still difficult to wire I will take it to have thme installed professionally. IMO it isn't worth the trouble to have the OE set up.

You'd probably be better off going that route. There is a how-to on clubrsx.com about doing the HID install on a RSX. I heard they are the same, but I really don't like the idea of cutting your factory harness.

How much did you ended up paying new harness and headlights?

I paid $1140 shipped. I know it's a shit load, but here is how I broke it down. $399 for CTR lights from Showstoppers, $450 for a HID kit. Right there I am at $850. I spent the extra $300, because not only are they a rare factory option, but they are also factory. I like it when stuff is well thought out. I have no doubt that when I do install them they will be great. The guy forgot to ship the harness so I am still waiting for it, but will keep you all posted.

Do you lose hi beams with the CTR HID?

I don't see where you would have the extra plug for a separate hi beam... If it is lo hi, how does it work, is there a solenoid?

As far as I know it is low beam only. I will see about having them installed this week, and keep you guys posted.

you have low and hi with the 02-03 CTR HID. i have those on my car and there is a motor that move the glare shield so the light is deflected higher. tomorrow i'll bring them to the shop so they can do all the wirering. i'll show pics as soon as i have them installed.

if you mean the 02-03 then its not that hard.
you just need to hook up a relay to the highbeams and the adjustmet motor so that when you turn your high beams on you dont burn out the motor
04-05 is even easier, but if you're scared of tapping wires and soldering and finding ground points you might not want to.
