USDM CTR kit vs JDM CTR Pic Request

Does anybody have like pics of the USDM vs JDM CTR kit, i would like to see like them side by side to see if its worth it to spend klsdajfklasdjfklsda more on the JDM if the USDM isnt that bad... so anybody?

*i tried to get the right angles with Accordexcpe95's car.. the JDM bumpers are a lot shorter then the USDM ones, hope this helps.*

whoa i never knew that the jdm rear bumper was diffrent shaped as well. man i jus keep learnin more and more for ephatch =OP

yup.. the JDM bumpers are a lot more short.. here's a side angle of my car.. look how short the bumpers are..

thanks for the compliaments.. i think this should be a sticky hehe ;) ;) .. i'm sure a lot of people are going to be asking for comparisons on these two kits... but yea as for my sideskirts they're held up by double sided tape..

i've had them on for about a year now and no problems whatsoever..

Do both the JDM lips require the corresponding JDM bumpers as well? I know for the front lip, you need to have the JDM front bumper, but what about the rear? Do you still need the JDM rear bumper for the rear lip?

yes you do.. just like the front USDM bumper, the back USDM bumper is shaped differently as well, it also is much bigger.. check out the comparison of the rear bumper.

I haven't heard that anybody needed to alter the JDM bumper covers to fit.

From what I've read over the past year or two, you need the bumper covers and the smaller JDM-sized rebars to go underneath, and that's it. Those pieces should just bolt & clip right on.

I hope that's right -- I don't want to give bad advice!

the usdm front lip just looks weird. maybe everyone's putting it on wrong?! it looks like if you line up the top section parallel with the ground instead of pointing kind of up at a 45 deg. angle, the lips would have the same countours on the bottom.

the jdm front lip looks a little weird too with those ends almost dangling off the sides.

well then, i guess it safe to say tha tyou don't really like teh CTR kit.. haha.. but i knida like the lip just dangleing off the sides like that.. heh

Don't sweat it -- it's personal preference. Nobody has to automatically like the CTR "look".

I like it the best (both USDM & JDM), followed by the Mugen and Buddy Club, but that's my opinion, and I'm not going to rag on someone who doesn't have the same taste.
