Allright.. Today i had orientation in New Orleans. Anyway, I was on my way home, and I saw a toyota dealership. There was a scion XB out front. It was dark silver w/ 18" TRD racing wheels. So i test drove it, and fell in love!!!!!!! I think i'm gonna trade in my SI for it, in about 2 months! I have to special order a XB. So i have to wait 6-8 weeks. should I do it? or not?

Depends what your looking for. If your looking for performance, then obviously don't trade in the EP, unless your going to boost the Xb. If your looking to get a car to "cruise" in and hook up in a show type of way, then thats the car for you.

The xA and xB have 108 hp. The xC will have 160 hp. I test drove the xB just for the hell of it and it had horrible response. Getting on the interstae was outright scary in that vehicle.

a couple guys at my school has a dropped xa with some rota's slips i think with a cf hood looks pretty bad ass...another guy has a white xb dropped...that looks pretty tight too!!!

are they 5 or 4 lug? cant tell because of the hubcaps covering em'

the third scion the Tc will be a 2 door coupe starting at $16,xxx w/a 160hp i4, and you can get a supercharger from TRD for an extra $2-3k, bringing power to 200hp and not voiding the warrenty, can also get a nav system (ie in dash factory TV/DVD), Honda needs to give N.America some love........will never happen they're to busy counting the money from all the overpriced accords they sell....

Obviously you don't want the xb if you're coming to a civic si forum asking if you should trade in your si. Of course we're all going to say "no". I think you should trade in your si so somebody worthy of having it can buy it, then you can rock the xb with 18's. :rolleyes:

I've seen them pop up all over. I'll admit that I like them. Toyota has a decent strategy that puts the Scions soley in the hand of the aftermarket. In fact Toyota has secured deals w/ several very popular and ruputable aftermarket venders that will offer high performance parts (not just I/H/E) for the Scion w/o voiding the warranty, and at a very reasonable cost. TRD is suposidly going to unleash an onslought of mods for the Scions for cheap and straight from the dealerships warranty intact. I've heard of a 300hp Xb rolling around in Houston. It supposidly has a swap (same engine from Celica GTS) and a turbo. It's black w/ 18" gold Gram Lights and a massive audio/video system complete w/ plasmas and sh*t. I'm sure its straight up sponsered and/or from Toyota. Has anybody heard of it?

Did you read all the other post? Some have been encouraging the move, some have not. This isn't VWVORTEX man, not everyone is a dick that believes his car is god. I think maybe you should do some research before you make such an ignorant statement. Oh yeah, and I think maybe you need a reality check as to where our EP stands next to the other cars in its class....not good

1. ClubSI has A LOT of kids that think they are the say all be all on the road, kinda act like you actually. Oh yeah, and I NEVER said anything about Type X, So don't put words in my mouth.

3. I love my SI, but I can face the facts and see that its not the king of the road. I also have IS 300, a S15 converted 240SX, and a GTI 337. Sorry I can appreciate other cars then my SI. Guess its my fault since I can afford to buy many different kinds of cars. Including an xB come mid-June. I guess You would understand if you weren't in high school, with a car your parents bought for you.
