what works the best for exhaust?

hey, i have an apexi n1 muffler 3"inlet and 4 1/2" tip. I want it to be very loud but am going to change the catback piping. What would work the best? how would 3" sound? or is 2.5" better for performance. thanx!

3in is for turbos. i have a 2.5 pipping with a N1. It sounds great n loud as fuck

siRican, what apexi n1 muffler do u have? I recieved the one that has a 3.5" tip. U know where i can get a good deal on the one with a 4.5" tip. I like the looks a little more. thanx, and how much did your piping cost and is it just the catback?

Mine is a 4.5 tip but thats only becuz i cut the canister off from my other civic. Did u go to their web site to see if they sale it like that. On mine i have a straight pipe from cat to muffler. Paid bout 180 for it. When u go for your cutsom pipping shop around. N jus look for the best prices n find out what kind of pipping there gonna use. Make sure they don't put cheap shit on ur ride
