ImportTuner screw up! wtf

on the latest importtuner, they made a big typo on calling our ep 'EG' wtf, how could they screw up on this? the feature car is on the Showstopper ep. someone better email or call importtuner about this typo.:p

Sport compact car is the best! No rice, only need to know info and people that are mostly concerned with performance. Not bullshit like glow pedals,lambo doors, and 3 foot APC wings.Modified mag is alright and for nothing but engine performance check out Turbo.You got to watch out for those rice magazines that hide their ricy content behind plastic casing so you have to buy before you read.Don't want to mention any names,"cough" High Beams.;)

I found a typo in the newest modified mag, too... They have a feature on the PolkAudio EP and they say that the EP has an 8k RPM redline from the factory. I wish...

I read import tuner, super street, modified, Performance Auto and Sound (canadian, but a huge mag with some good stuff). I used to read Sport Compact Car but then they started bad talking the EP and never stopped, so...

Any one ever see the April issue of Import Tuner mag with the scoop about drifting?On the cover,it has the blue rx7 from carbon creations with the lambo doors.Well anyway, the drifting tips are good but the picturs are photochopped. This guys is supposed to be drifting in an ae86 corolla, but there are no rubber marks or smoke and the only thing blurred are the wheels.The dead give away you ask? You can clearly see inside of his car and both the tach and speedo needles are on zero.The car is not even on.:eek:

Car and Driver and Road and Track are way better than Motortrend. Motortrend lost my vote when they kept naming the most retarded cars for car of the year (i.e. PT Cruiser, new Thunderbird...). C/D and RT have tuner mags out now I think, which should be good considering they have people who know what they're talking about reviewing aftermarket parts and what not. I'm going to have to check them out. Grassroots rocks as well.

The other thing that i noticed is they said that Chuck repainted his whole car with a "custom" paint color called Vivid Blue Pearl.... Last time I checked that was a stock color! I usally like most of this magazine but this has really disappointed me... I hope they make a statement about this in their next issue.

Car and Driver's new tuner mag is called "Boost" the R&T mag is called "Speed"... Both are EXCELLENT.

Boost had a good write up on the Mugen Si, while Speed had the HFP Si in a comparison test(it did pretty bad due to it's price and lack of engine upgrades)

Both magazines are much more mature than Import Tuner and SCC. They also forgo the boobies (which you can find easy enough in other places)

All these other tuner mags are starting to piss me off. It seems like all they pay attention to is WRXs, STis, 350Zs, and the occasional S2K thrown in for good measure.

And yeah, Motor Trend sucks balls. Basically for them, ad$$=good ratings.

MotorTrend and car and driver are pure domestic sales catalogs, while the popular "import rags" would prefer to sell skin than substance, and in either case they cant get a single article published without glaring innaccuracies, with BS editing and page lay-up's that make reading them, a painfull headache causing experience. I have stopped all my subscriptions. I will go to Barnes and Noble book stores and check them out, but I wont buy untill they get their heads out of their collective asses.

I can get better porn with women that are worlds better than the skanks in the "import" rags.
