What do you guys think of these.......

Hey everyone!

about time to finally purchase some new wheels for the EP and just wondered what you thought of these, color and style...well, style I like alot, simple. but the color i'm not sure of. they used to have silver, but don't make them anymore, just black.

The car is Vivid blue, 2003.

what size? as for the top one, just get some rotas, don't get some 17" rota look alikes...aka spoon look alikes, it doesn't look good

LOL....I've used SPEEDY wheels for years now. I have the 18" ATIX5 in the old gunmetal color on my 2000 Odyssey. I've had the Race Modes in silver on my old Si, looks VERY COOL! just not sure on the black. I did some paintshop and think the Race modes are better, might have them powdercoated silver if black isn't decent looking.

Wifey thinks black looks crappy, what does she know? :)

i like the black ones better, im not a fan of silver wheels at all, and i dont know why, but i like the looks of the black ones...

Well, I get the wheels for cost. I used to deal, lightly, with Speedy for years when I sold audio and performance parts a few years back. I priced 16's first, but think i'll do 17's as the EP is a 'big' looking car.

16's cost me....err...well, lets just say it's REAL inexpensive ;) I should do a group buy thing with them? hmmmmmmm...i'll have to get with admin on that one. They retail for about 140.00 a wheel in 16's, and I get ABOUT half or so. ;)

and for about the same price why not get rota ?

I'd say they are both nice looking rims, I prefer gunmetal though. I like these.

I've seen the motegi's in person...they are nasty looking imo

they were on a new civic coupe. They look so cheap looking...like some reallllly cheap Volk knock offs. I mean rota makes some rota te37 knock offs that look much better than the motegi ones.

The spokes on the motegi's just stick out and look odd...really cheap looking imo
