lowering with coilovers

just wondering if i could fill in the gap between my fender wells and tires with coilovers without rubbing, somebody please respond, i have 225/40/18s on my car.:cool:

Agreed, and you know that you lower till you can. The gap will be less when you lower it no matter the tire size (that is if you are not like rubbing against the fendor and stuff). Please check out the newbie bible and moved to suspension. Maybe someone with these and those size tires can help :)

That's a big ass tire. About 7/8" bigger in diameter. Keep in mind when you drop your car that you have already filled up almost 1/2" of that gap so don't drop too much.:cool:
