Yeah man, go to Honda's website... the jap one that is... here I'll make navigation easy since it's all in japanese.

http://www.honda.co.jp/CIVICTYPE-R/showroom/exterior/index.html

Let it load, it's a 3D kinda rotating picture of the Type R that you can select the views you want, then you click on some of the parts to zoom in. You can even check out interior as well. I think those are HID, and we got the cheap replica halogens. The JDM look much better.

Of course...

Considering it's a projector-type headlight.

Yeah, no kidding.

He said his lights looked different than the Type R ones and I was giving another reason why. If you look, no one mentioned that they were projectors in this thread.

Yeah I noticed that. I think they are using the price of the older Type R headlights... considering they are still using the same picture...

You guys might want to think about seeking out the German market headlights, in order to make sure you don't have any beam alignment problems.

I know this is a problem w/a lot of the ITR JDM nose conversions. You can never get the beam absolutely aligned because it's designed for driving on the other side of the road.

You wouldn't have this problem (if it is one on the EP3) w/the German units.

Yo, we got a couple sets coming in today! Low beam uses 9006 and high beams are H1. You'll have to re-wire your headlight wires since the high and low beams are separated. It comes with all necessary sockets and hardware, and they're goin for $530.00 shipped to your door. Let us know if anyone's interested or call us for more info, thanks!!!

That's exactly why I was hoping people would start getting European parts... Do the Euro '04 Type R headlights come with HID, too?

the 04 type-r ones same as this?

CLICK (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7908268853&category=33710)

cuz the ebay ones are supposedly genuine Honda and will fit 02-03 without mods...

also curious, that since they are JDM how's the beam pattern gonna be considering they're right hand drive??

omg the projectors came...so i checked them out, to make sure everything was ok. The left lamp was fine, but the right lamps mounting broke off, so the vendor is trying to find a new one for me. sorry guys!

Put the good one on first, do a write up on that, and take some pics of it. No need to sit around and wait till the other one gets in. :D
