Does anyone's "maintence required" light flash long after the car is started and like 3 or 4 times after srs light goes out? I wasn't sure if I just never noticed it flashing so long or if it is coming on for some other reason?

How many miles you got? Between 8k and 10k???? The flashing is normal... It is telling you that you are coming up on a service at 10k miles. Once you hit 10k miles it will stay on until you either go in for service, or reset it yourself... To reset, hold it down, start car while continuing to hold it down. After 5-10 seconds it should blink and then go off.
