generally, does ecu chips or hondata eat up gas? if so.. is it like a dramatic change? say 26 mpg to 20 or somethin

you serious? i thought higher rpm's = more gas needed. i understand that its fuel placement.. but i dont know.. been told that it takes gas away.

no discernable difference, if anything, theoretically anyway, a little more per gallon.
EDIT: obviously if you drive your car in the higher RPMs, it will consume more fuel. If you were to drive your car in the same manner that you do pre-ecu or reflash then there should be no difference.

usually when it comes to a new ecu, is a new tach necessary?
