A local shop wants $230 for spring, camber kit install INCLUDING an alignment. Is this a good deal or should i keep shopping? I dont have any tools or anything, so i cant do it myself.

Doesn't seem to bad...

As long as they can get all of the alignment angles within
specification....

You should have them install the camber kit and springs, drive it
around for a day so the springs can set then have them align it...

how bad is the ride without an alignment?

Ride isnt horrible, but tire wear is!

230 for spring, camber kit, and alignment is not a bad deal at all.
Im paying a few bucks less than that for camber kit & alignment next week! (already paid 125 for spring install)

I'd say roll with it, but a few extra phone calls never hurt anyone!

that is a very good/reasonable price, that works out to $150 install and $75 for a 4-wheel align.

I only installed the rear. It was easy. Look at the how-to on k-series.com. I think it took me like an hour at the most.

Guys,

lets settle this once and for all:

OK, from what I understand...if the car is NOT dropped more than 1.5" - camber kit not needed. Is this info correct?

Springs that drop 1.5" or less (Tein, Eibach) any others? any preference?

For performance sake, 1.5" would be the max anyway right??

Any input or feedback is greatly appreciated.

If you're going to lower the car more then 1", I would recommend a camber kit for at least the rear. Anymore then 1.5" and you should get both front and rear kits. I have Neuspeed Race w/ the Ingalls and my car drives just like stock, but better.
