Turbo Question Regardin BOV

I read that with the Greddy kit there is welding required for the BOV, is this correct? I read it a couple months ago and can't find the post now. I found that Greddy sells a BOV Flange... would this eliminate the need to do any welding? If I am way off on this, then, what is the flange for? Thanks alot.

The flange is what you weld to the charge piping. Then the BOV mounts to the flange.
