just got my car back
had a new eps unit and rack put in
and new window seal
it took them almost two month to do

dealer did'nt have the part

Hmmm...

That's not much compensation if you have to rent a car for two months. Why the heck does it take so long to get the parts?!?! That's like crazy!!!!

I knew parts would be limited and hard to get, but two months is not absolutely not acceptable. There's no way I'd put up with that. If you had to rent a car it would cost like 4 times your monthly payment each month (at least)!

Did they say it would be two months, or were they like, "yea; we should have it in next week--we'll call you when it's done", for like 8 weeks?

2 months. Shit i hope they paid those 2 months car payments! I would have bitched and moaned. called consumer reports, channel 3 news, the president of honda, and Pokemon. A bra and a free tank of gas is nothing man! --joe glad you got it back though.

Hey which part of Texas are you in? Surprise you having problem with your EP too. I have two defective issue with this less than a month old car! Arrgh... Honda....

When you say window seal, do you mean the weatherstrip on the outside part of the drivers window.

Mine has a crease in it at the top left corner, but I have not yet gotten Honda do order the part for me. I want them to order it, but I would rather install it myself since I don't trust the mechanics at any dealer.

Then again, I may just leave it be since it doesn't really affect anything.

02blksi can you please post some pics of your N1 muffler? I would like to get one, but I was told it wouldn't fit because the wheel base is too close to the rear bumper and the tip of the muffler would stick out. Thanks! (Also, where did you get yours from and how much did you pay? They're asking $230 for just the muffler at a local import shop near me)
