my friends are telling me that if i install springs only on oem shocks or struts or wutever he said that it will pop, because the shocks or struts are not made to handle aftermarket springs. if you guys have answers it would help thanks.

they'll def. put more stress on the shocks than oem springs, and you'll have to replace them down the road, but I wouldn't worry about it for a while.

i got Tein S Tech w. stock shocks for about 10 months and 20K, so far, no problems *knock on wood*

Should be fine, atleast for awhile.

Also depends on driving style (i.e. Auto X, careful on tracks/speed bumps)

cutting the bumpstops will eliminate slamming and prolly extend your oem shocks life. depending on road conditions, drop, and how many miles you put on your car id say you have at least a year, or maybe a little more. then it will be time to invest in some konis or tokico shcoks

S- Techs (atleast mine did) come with a guide that states how much you need to cut the bump stops, never tried to ride w/o cutting them, did it during original install. I would suggest you do the same.
