i was thinking going with (225/40/18) or (235/40/18)...do anyone know that going with this size will rub the wheel wells??? if so then i will just go with (215/35/18)???

you could allways try to search... or even look a couple of threads down... the have the exact same topic...

most people will say stay with 215/35/18... you could allways try to fit a 40 series...

i have been looking...not alot of ppl got 18"...i wanna know what the max tires i can go without having it rub the wheel well...even having 4-5 people in the car...duRh

Go for a 225/35/18. I had that size on some 18x7.5 and it was a perfect fit. Enough profile and fush with the rime...protecting it without drowning it, and not leaving the rim out in the open. 225/40/18 is also good...you don't want to go too thin, otherwise you better have every pot hole memorized where you go.

I got 215/35/18 with a 2 inch drop, and its fine. I could def fit a bigger tire on there and still have no rub, so next tire is pro gona be 225/35/18, i wana try and fill the gap in a lil more

i have 215/35 with a progress drop and i have no issues. the largest i would go though is 215/40 to ensure no rubbing...
