811 miles I've driven my EP now. Every day I tell myself "you gotta take this thing in and have the steering wheel adjusted". I let go of the wheel, the car goes straight as an arrow. But in order to go straight, the steering wheel is turned slightly to the left.
Anybody else have this? WTF??

PBN,
Please bring in your EP for free alightment. I have the same problem when I drove it out of the dealer lot. The explaination is, they tied the car too tight during transportation. Hence, screwing the alightment out of spec. It happened on my nissan too. Oh, ask for free oil change for the trouble.. Last, make sure they don't sratch your rims like they did to mine.

My car does this too, it goes straight if I let go of the wheel but its tilted to the left.

I just thought it was because of my 18in wheels.

A little pull to the right (have to turn the wheel to the left) is normal. No road is perfectly flat. Roads have a slight camber to them to help keep the roads free of any standing water. This is why if a road is covered in water it is best to drive over the center line (if you HAVE to).

As I stated in my original post, there is no abnormal pull in either direction. The car is straight as an arrow without input. But, while letting go of the wheel when the car is going straight, the wheel is turned a little to the left. It just looks weird.
I drive to work in the morning when it's dark so half the time I don't notice it.
I'm gonna call the dealership today and see what they say.

Well, I cant really remember the car when i left the dealership, but when i lowered it and put cambers on, it was all messed up, camber was off and so was alignment. But honda told me to go to this one place(because car wouldnt go up the ramp) and they made everything perfect. This guy knew his alignment.

Some align techs will tell you its because one tires worn, or its just the sterring whel being off lined, but keep asking them to straighten it. its like a picture hangin on the wall, sure the picture is not harmed or ruined, but IT BUGS THE HECK OUT OF YOU when its not straight.

My steering wheel was crooked and the alignment was off. The wheel was pointed to the left and the car would pull to the right. After 2 dealer visits the steering is now perfectly true.

hey rick, is 77F an ARMY thing?

Yes it is. 77F was my first MOS. Petroleum Supply Specialist. I was found to have mechanical talent with weapons, so I was made unit armorer. I issue, receive, repair, modify, and inventory weapons. I deal with the M9 pistol (Beretta 92F for you civilian types) all the way up to the M60 Machine Gun. This carries over to my home life where I build my own pieces for my friends and family. I have built cars, bikes, and planes too, but my first passion is firearms.

I'm a Specialist. I have turned down SGT a few times, but this time I think I might take it. If you want to lose the important parts to your weapon I suggest you lose the bolt carrier group, and the trigger assembly with selector switch. The trigger group comes out easilly. Drive the two retaining pins out toward the ejection port side of the rifle. The selector switch will rotate out. Just don't tell your armorer. Replace with appropriate AR15 parts. Don't get caught.

Also I play Counter-Strike as well, but it is not quite like the real deal. Let us know when you want to play. I don't have much time but I'll give it a go.

I have to tilt my wheel a bit to the left too...common with lowered vehicles, especially over 1.5" or so and coilovers. When I get my Neuspeed springs on I'll be bringing my car to the best place in town. They most often align 18 wheelers and other big vehicles! :D

Mine [unfortunately] isn't lowered yet so my symptoms have a different origin. I had planned on stopping by the dealership last week about this, but once again was side-tracked. Hopefully I'll get some time early this week and get some d@mn answers.
On another note though, I was cruising along the interstate today at 80 mph [or so] and happened to notice the wheel was almost perfectly straight. As I slowed I had to turn the wheel slightly to keep with the straight car. Since our steering is electrical in nature, I wonder if this has just a little something to do with it. I'm no mechanic so I won't analyze it further. That's what professionals are for.
Thanks for reading my rant, again.
