i based mine on using motor that is in car.. not a swap.. you can swap if you want to

i would sell the ep3, and use that plus the 20,000 to buy a bmw 330ci. but really i would be smart and just invest that 20,000 if i could, and not be stupid in wasting that much money on a car, which in the long run will not get me anything in return money wise.

I'd go with a built A2, Greddy turbo'd, w/ direct port 100-150 shot. JDM 6spd (w/ LSD) and some drag radials - stripped interior.

dont know about cost or estamted HP - but i thought i would play your game anyways!

i did i UPGRADED on the ep:D ....

IF I HAD TO SPEND IT ON THE EP...i would pay off the rest of the car..then id do a A2 swap with bolt ons i/h/e, drop, rims and some other little suspension stuff...then if i had anything left over id save it for a downpayment on a new car

if i had 20k to spend i would sell the ep for around 12,000 and put the 12k and 20k towards an s2000 and some mods to go with it..or if you really want to keep the ep..i would turbo it(SFP),some internals to handle higher boost, full jdm type r kit, and some nice wheels...

The only way I would spend 20K on the EP would be If I won a lottery. Then I would put together my ultimate "invisioned" EP as a project. Then I would get the three cars above ;)

We have a 330ci at my job that i have driven a couple of times. Honestly you will be disappointed if you go from a EP and spend all that money on the 330ci. There is almost no 0-60 gains...or at least it felt like it to me:) I had to take my ep out and race it with the 330ci just to make sure. but as far as the race went we were pretty even. that was just a couple of 0-50 runs. Just my 2 cents.

do people not realize.. that if you get our car above 300 HP.. it is completely pointless.. it then becomes a dyno/trailer queen. You wouldnt be able to drive it daily. Unless you wanted a dyno queen... why would you even spend that kind of money on an EP3. Totally agree with everyone saying to ditch the EP and get an STI, or hell... find a used twin turbo 6speed Supra.
