K20a Swap before tuning. 2nd pull of the day. Notice dip when vtec engages we eventually tuned that out, and got rid of the dip.

tuned it out... meaning you raised vtec engagement approximately 200 rpm?

I had to change the vtec engagement and add more fuel. my a/f ratio is about 13.00-13.40

are you going to try to get it closer to 14.7 or will you rather stay a tad rich and perserve the engine?

I tried 14.7 but the k20a motor doesnt like that. the motor like to run rich. I was losing power getting closer to 14.7 if i kept the a/f around 13 it made the most power. I'm also going to be making a custom 3" exhaust for the car because it like the bigger exhaust. The way this motor like to run NA is almost the same as running turbo.

actually i have 2.5" right now and its not that loud. my friend has the same swap with a 3" sounds the same as mine

what muffler will you run on that 3"?

stock or hi-flow cat or no cat?

dont forget to retune after going to a better flowing cat or no cat

the vision 2-1 downpipe that i'm running eliminates the cat and i'm going to be runnning a blitz 3" muffler with all stainless steel piping(mandrel bent)
