04 type r seats

has anyone seen the 2004 type r seats...they are nice! IMO but i was wondering does anyone know where i might can order them just for reference i wanna see what's their price range thanks!

from a honda dealer in japan...those come in jdm ctrs...and i think they are special order items

that is just the japan one right cuzz i saw the UK ones and they dont look like that it looks more like the ones we have....also if it's from honda dealer can any motorsport shop order it from them:D because i tried lookin at the internet and i end up finding the 04 UK type r and the seats are like the same as ours basically:rolleyes:

yeah the jap ones come with recaros(not sure if its the recaros in pic, but JDM CTRs come with recaro SRDs)...the edm (euro) ones come with the same seat as us unless it was a 2002 or 2003 (not sure which one) 20th ani edition..im not sure if any motorsport shop can order them..thats for you to ask..if not find a friend in japan have him/her send you a pair..but just be ready to dish out some money

The JDM CTR actually has Recaro Sport model seats. Our seats are pretty swell, but the grass is always greener... However, my exhaustive searching has been as yet unable to locate that particular red/black (or even red/red) color combo. One place I looked, ProAm Auto (http://www.proamauto.com/page11df.htm), has a picture that says, "Sport is equal to the OEM Civic/Accord R-Type Seat," but the red/red or red/black color combo isn't there on the site. So I emailed them to ask if they could get the exact CTR seats, and here's what they said: Mr. Enecks - Yes, we can get the Recaro seats like in the Type R cars. Please call 800-847-5712 for more info or to place an order. Since I currently don't have the fundage to buy the seats, and since they're probably at least $1,000 each, I didn't bother calling. But if somebody less shy than I would like to get the info from them, that'd be swell.

The 2003 30th Anniversary Edition CTR in Europe got the JDM Red/Red Recaro Sports.

I like the rear seats, not having the middle back seats looks clean. The cut out is pretty nice. A while back I think someone with a CTR was willing to trade his back seats for out USDM 3 person back seat.

wow 1000 each man that's alot haha guess i'll have to put that on hold but yeah i noticed that the euro accord R (aka TSX) has the same seats but it's black i think i remember seeing it somewhere on the euro accord R accord just forgot where....:rolleyes:

there looks to be a typo on the header of the item, as if they typed 2 D's rather than 2 E's. "SUDED"

the discription beneath says:

Recaro Sport Seat (Passenger Side), Synthetic Suede Red + Jersey Grey.
Driver side and passenger side sold separately.
Note: Seat bracket, adapter, and slider sold separately.

All Type-Rs are 4 seaters (only 4 seat-belts), and not 5 seaters like the rest of the 3 door Civic range.
