Well this is my first post and im sorry if my question has already been answered but i did look around and didnt see it.

Ive heard that changing the shifter from the stock one reduces the pull of it(makes it shorter), any thruth to this? And which would be the best shifter and why?

Thanks for the info,

Marc

it might make it shorter but i wouldnt know. i did the short shift kit and the shift knob at the same time. along with the shifter bushings. it does feel alot different with everything done at once.

changing a shift knob will not change the length it takes from one gear to the next gear...the only thing to make the distance shorter is a short shifter...which will change the angle from gear to gear smaller...
