NEW LEATHER INTERIOR PICS ADDED 7/06!

Well I figured it's about time I made a members ride thread (thanks to all you fellow nagging members ;) ).


Location: Southwestern, MA
Ride: 02 Silver SI

Mods:

Tunes:
- MB Quart Premium front 5 1/4" components.
- MB Quart rear 6 1/2" mids only (rear fill only).
- JVC head unit (it matches and it's easy to use :) ).
- 4 channel Fosgate Amp (75x2 and rear channel bridged to ~200x1).
- RF Distribution blocks, connections, 1 farad Cap.
- 4 ga wire all around (All grounding points upgraded to 4 ga).
- 1 10" Square Kicker Solobaric.
- Monster Cable Patch cords.
- EFX Battery terminals and wiring.
- Dynamatted doors.

Alarm:
- Compustar with remote start, blah blah blah...

Outside:
- All stickers and emblems removed (besides the OEM H's and one of the SI's)
- DIY blacked out headlights. I went with a different masking style.
- DIY tinted tail lights (masked off reverse) and rear bumper lenses.
- DIY custom rear tail light bulb/socket switch.
- DIY orange tinted front bumper lights and side blinkers. I had clears up front. Sprayed both clears so the color match was identical.
- Grill-tech upper (custom) and lower grills. Black mesh style.
- Relocated the front plate.
- Silver Mugen Grill.

Lighting:
- Sylvania Silverstar bulbs.
- Upgraded ballasts with relays (more power/brighter lights).
- Sylvania Xenarc HID fog lights.
- City light bulbs changed to amber.

Susp:
- 16" GM Rota Grids with 215/55/16 Kuhmo's and Hub centric rings.
- Silver Kyokugen Lugs.
- Silver D3 Double X Brace.
- Debadged Black Neuspeed Front strut tower brace.
- Neuspeed Polished Rear strut brace.
- Neuspeed Rear lower tie bar (bling! bling!).
- RSX S 19 mm rear sway bar with Energy Suspension bushings.
- Energy Suspension Front Sway bushings.
- ES Front and rear master bushing set (not in yet).
- Eibach Sportline 1.5" drop.
- Ingalls front camber bolts.
- Ingalls rear camber kit (arms).
- Brembo drilled and slotted front rotors.
- EBC Greens / organic pads for the fronts.

Motor: (new motor at 20,000 miles thank to my buddy that blew it!)
- Injen CAI.
- Injen SRI (I switch back and forth).
- Next Gear Red IMG.
- Hondata Reflash.
- HP 4-1 header. Went at the inside of it for 2 hours with my Dremel.
- Megan Cat and Caspers 02 sim
- Energy Suspension motor mount inserts
- Neuspeed Cat back exhaust
- Nology Hot Wires
- DIY grounding wires
- Red valve cover (plastic)

Interior:
- Neuspeed short shifter
- Shifter bushings
- DIY gauge cluster color change. All interior bulbs replaced with RED LED's. One hell of a pain in the A$$. Looks neat though...
- Momo shift knob. My GF picked it up for me on the net.
- RSX-S Front and rear black leather on as of 7/05.

I like it clean

- BF Goodrich KDW 205/50/16's
- Type R silver wing / Paid for. Still not here :(. Paid Sup..9 the $$ and still no spoiler.

if you have some free time i would love to see a pic of how you switched the bulbs around,and made them fit. ive seen the final product it looks great.

It's pretty easy. All you need is a couple hours, a dremel and 2 more bulb sockets.

VHT nightshade and 2" Blue masking tape for the reverse lights. I put a flashlight through the back and cut the circle with an exacto knife. Then ~2 light coats of VHT.

Do you mean the tinting or bulb swap? If you mean the bulb swap the 04 tails have a totally different set up. I wou;dn't be sure as I've never handled them.

lol...thanks Poo-king. We've been together for 7 years this August :eek:. Luckily, she likes annoying, loud, PIA's like myself ;).

Well, the reason the sub is in a single hatch box is due to the fact that I use the hatch a ton. The amps, connections and capacitor are all mounted under the seats (forgot those pics). I play a lot of sports so I wanted everything to be out of the way and removeable :). Sub comes out in less than 5 minutes if you know what to look for ;).

Ok. Just mask off what you don't want tinted and then spray the rest. Just be careful - the reason I didn't spray the clear section was to minimize inspection / Police problems. MA cops can be butt-heads.

Yeah, after having 4 10's in one car, 2 12's in another I decided to go with accuracy and just enough boom. It was too much of a pain not having trunk/hatch space for anything. Plus the fact I don't want to bog the car down with weight. Don't let that one 10" fool you. It hits pretty damn hard. I have a buddy with 2 12's and he always whines that my 1 10" hits harder ;). It's all about knowing how to squeeze and tune the most out of what you have :cool: .

They made a huge difference IMO. The brake pedal has such a better feel to it now. High speed transition to an off ramp is awesome........
