What size midpipe?

I've got the dc race header going on in a couple of days, rather than cutting the b-pipe I'm going to have one made. The only shop in town that will overlook the lack of a cat only has a crush bender, so my question is should i go 2.25 or 2.5. I autocross so I'm a little concerned about losing midrange tourque with the 2.5, but I definatly don't want a lot of restriction. Help me out guys!

Agreed, any bigger and crush bends will be harder to do and still keep a clean look.
