Are you guys also replacing the speaker wire that runs through the car?

I haven't done a damn thing with car audio in a few years, the last time was when I redid my Contour. Now that I am getting an EP soon, I am planning out the stereo, but I'm real rusty on car audio. I don't even remember if my Pioneer door speakers are running Monster Cable or the stock stuff. I know the subwoofer and amp are on Monster (speakers run off the deck amp).

So, when you replace the speakers, do you replace the speaker cable as well?

Well when i replaced my system i ran New speaker wire to every location.........I used Kimber Kable Quick 16 .......... its a great speaker cable and i had to run it from my amp under my seat to my speakers in the front doors and rear speakers.

It depends what you want to do. and how much you want to spend. the other reason is i didnt want to Cut my factory wire harness. that way i can plug all my factory speakers back into it when im ready to sell the car.
