I did a search but came up with nothin.

I'm wonderin if anyone is runnin an optima battery, any color top, on an EP. My friend can get me a pretty decent discount on one, so I was wonderin if they are worth the purchase. I have a lot of friends that have them, but mostly in older cars.

Thanks.

I've got several in my older cars. Unless you need to replace your battery, I wouldn't reccommend getting one. If you do need a new battery, they are the best you can get and are worth the money. When my EP3 needs a battery, I'll get an Optima.

I have an Optima yellow top in mine. Installed it for boosting my audio power and evening things out. I love it. Car starts a bit quicker now and seems to have eliminated all headlight dimming I was having.

MEEP3 from Elgin, Illinois has the yellow one in his ride. He got it a little for the bling, but mainly because he's got alot of audio in his.

It does make the engine bay look pretty tight.

1600 watts RMS of PG power made an Optima mandatory for me.
