I was reading their webpage and they claim the $599.00 header will give an increase of 26hp. Am I seeing things or is this really true?

hehe i didnt assume u couldnt read :)

i couldnt get the page to display here at work so i couldnt see the article...

but for a n/a k20a3, 26 hp would be worth 599.00 IMO anyone have a dyno run with this header???

Thats the best price to gain comparison I have seen for an import. Still doesnt beat the 150 bucks for headers (yes plural) on a mustang that adds the same amout... lol :D

Anj (anjapower) has the Comptech raceheader and he's putting down 167 at the wheels.

fsugatorbait has the DC and is putting down ~ 167.

I believe that figure on there site is when the JR race header is added onto a JRSC'd (Jackson Racing Supercharged) EP.

I remember talking about this on another thread awhile go and the consensus was that 26hp IS with the JRSC installed. On a N/A EP, you'd probably get like 8-10hp increase.

That's a 54hp gain by adding a header...wtf

If you look at the dyno charts on there site. The base line is with jrsc and stock exaust header. And the 26hp gain is with jrsc and there header. I think you would get a larger gain when you replace stock headers on a force induction car with most after market hearder. Getting 26hp gain on a n/a k20a3 is unlikely.

That gain is with JRSC Street Version.

DC Race header is better than JR for N/A setup.

Can you still run the DC Race header with the stock cat?

nope. comptech, JR, DC Sports ... all their race headers eliminate the cat. so you'll fail any kind of emissions testing, need an O2 sim. and pray for no CEL.

is a non race header even worth getting?

Yup.

I gained .25 in the 1/4 and felt much better mid range pull.
