ground control coilovers. make sure they are for the si. you can go from 1.5 to 3. i got mine for 300 bucks from a shop, soft ride. if they try to sell it to you for 380, give them the finger.

Excellent

How do they behave in the city and transitional from city to highway on those stock shocks?

Is that an optical illusion or are your rear tires at negative 5 degress camber:eek:

You still running the stock shox?

fishboy
10-30-2002, 05:48 PM
it is not an illusion, i have super camber. yeah the stock shocks are holding up pretty good so far. probably can't take it much longer. hopefully by then i can afford the teins i want.:)

nice drop fishboy. hows the ride holding up? has time caused it to get rougher or bouncier?

Will2k2 - hey man, read the whole thread without just looking at the pics.... "but if you really need pics, search the member's rides section for my car or dynaspeed's. we both have gc's"

thanks, the ride is actually the same, pretty soft and almost never rough or bouncy. the only thing i don't like is the noise coming from the front, but i wd40 the coilovers and it quiets down completely.

well the way it is sitting right now, i have it set bit lower than halfway. i might be able to go another half inch to an inch, i'm not sure. right now i'm scraping on driveways, which sucks, and waiting on a camber kit.:)

i recommend these though, if you want the adjustability and soft ride.

Thank you, sir. The drop is so perfect that it makes even our stock wheels just right!

its kinda hard to tell in the pic, but does it tuck at all, or does it sit right on top of the top of the tire?

CleanBlackSi02

With the 195 width tire the SIDEWALL appears to be flush. However, it is a bit above the wheel well where the actual tread is. If it was a 205/60 it'd probably look more tucked. If I don't get aftermarket wheels soon, I'll probably go with a 205/55 and I'm HOPING that it'll look mildly tucked in the front.
