in case anyone is thinking about getting the c/f rear hatch for light weight reduction dont. the c/f rear hatch according to Shawn Hilliar(hopefuky you know who he is) the rear hatch actually weighs more than stock. just givin a heads up

yeah stock is lighter. i was just reading some peoples questions about the rear hatch and i thought id post my knowledge

actually i was stating that the cf hatch is lighter, just worded it very poorly

A) i thought it was saying that it retains the stock weight and i was informing people who were purchasing it for a weightreduction but if i was wrong i appologize and stand corrected.

B)i have never seen this thread

C) i dont believe i ever said c/f was heavier than stock material. i believe i said it came out weighing the same as stock. so thx for puttin words in my mouth

no doubt like i said im goin for it i was talkin to those who dont care for looks and wanted it for the weight reduction but whatever i love c/f

yup carbon is for the bling imo.

but this has been said many time on ephatch. search. if nothing.

c/f hatch is said to be only a couple pounds lighter than stock. the glass is the heavy part.

-BS the CF hatch was understood to be heavier!!! ( do A search)

-to be more specific 3 pounds heavier with glass!!!!

-and it was not superstreet but HCi!!!

- And cause its heavier you dont see it on as much Ep's( also Vis Cf products suck anyways ;) go with either Seibon or Fiber images for full carbon, high quality)
