Mugen style wing with the same carrier:

In deciding on the Mugen style cf wing, I figured that the carrier top straps would do well going through the slot. Good thing it works... lol

Yup, and thanks for packing it well, too -- I think the box, bubble wrap, and pile of paper weighed more than the wing itself!

I can't very well remember which model it is -- it's about 7 years old now. I think its current equivalent is the MoJoe (or maybe it's just the same model anyway), judging by the straight top window tubes. It's the only carrier I've owned, but I don't feel any need to get a different one.

It moves a bit, of course, but that mostly depends on how tightly I secure the straps. I cinch them down tight enough to strum like a guitar string, and it wiggles a bit over bumps & stuff. The bike never moves more than about 4 inches to either side at the most (swing range of roughly 8" total). Then again, I haven't charged down gravel roads with it, either.

FYI - the installation at top (the one with the Mugen wing was just a quickie) is what Yakima recommends, or at least the best I can figure out.
