question about mtec bulbs

i bought some mtecs off ebay and the box says "12v 55w ->100w" is this too much for my 04's harnesses....i need to know before i put them in.....i guess i should have checked before hand, but im sure someone will have the right answer...it also says 2X and 4350K. thanks in advance

look on the bulb itself for the rating, factory (and PIAA's, etc.) should be 55w/60w, some times they just say ''equal to 100w output'' and they're really the 55w bulbs. But if they are 70w/85w or higher they will melt your s*** eventually.
