Couple of Questions

1) Is the Cigarette Lighter a 12V Connection? As in, can I hardwire, say, a strobe light directly into a line coming off the battery?

2) I connected a High to Low converter for my subwoofer by my rear right speaker - is there anyway to get it so that the speaker plays highs but still sends a low signal to the subwoofer?

Yes, the cig lighter is a 12v constant connection. I use this for MANY different items including my gauges and powering neons.

To be able to split the signal how you want on the rear speaker to sub you are going to need a crossover to split the signal. Contact http://madisound.com/ and have them build you some custom crossovers because there are not alot of high level crossovers out there, and none that I can think of.

oh, and, how would i go about connecting the neon to a 12v connection while leaving the lighter position open? i put my radar detector in the cig. lighter, and i want to somehow tap the neon into the power wire that goes to my sub

Trippz, I dont understand your question too well. What'cha wanna do? Hard wire your strobe light to the 12v cig lighter? If yes, check out my DIY Cig Lighter (http://www.ephatch.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24242) in the How To section. If you wanna hook up the strobe to your amp power line, just tap it. But make sure u fuse it. Go to Radio shack and buy a small fuse box and hook it up to the strobe light, then tape the fuse box wire to the amp's power. Then find a good ground for strobe light. Remember, if stock uses the ground, why cant u?

around 5 bucks or so. then u need to find out how many amps your strobe light run and find the correct fuse amount.
