Hi guys,

Am upgrading my brakes to some Mugen items (click here (http://www.mugen-power.com/street/04civic/parts/02.html)). Can someone shed light on what the Insulation Tube (at the bottom of the page) is for?

Thanks! :)

Well it looks like it would go over the new brake lines before they are installed. to keep heat away from the lines, Makes sence since the brake fluid can boil. to keep any heat away would help in track conditions of course.

Thanks for the confirmation, I thought as much. Yes I am upgrading my brakes purely for trackdays (along with using Motul Racing Brake Fluid) as with standard hoses and fluid brake pedal feel gets very spongy after a few laps. :)

I agree, when auto crossing we have enduro events and after 3 laps the car feels like it is fades and the pedal is def, softer. i like the way the aftermarket brake lines make the car feel. just upgrading those makes a nice difference.
