Installing Tip
Support the Control arm with Jack.

Screwdriver through the bulkhead and control arm to prevent it from dropping out.
Just to be safe.
I would imagine relining would have been bitch to do.

Misc Comments.
It's straight forward installation.
However, Stock endlinks are not that easy to get it off, Especially when its all rusted. Damn WI winter.
You NEED 5mm allen wrench with 14mm open head wrench to take off endlinks.

Design issues.
Not sure why progress designed sway bar like that.
Everything fits perfect, but If you look at sway bar and Endlinks.
It doesn't sit vertically. endlinks sits on angle.
That may leads to breaking endlinks( Stock ones )

Otherthan that, its great.

Dude that's awsome! I'm getting a JDM CTR 22mm Sway bar, it's on it's way, and I was wondering if I can just buy the tie bar from Progress or what other brands are out there that make and sell only the tie bar.

IF you get new endlinks just jump for the 25mm Mugen Rear Sway bar...

Im still on the RSX 19mm....Those endlinks looks nice, how is the car holding up?

if the endlinks are not vertical then wouldn't it also put greater strain on the I beam and cause subframe tearout?

Can't just buy low tie bar subframe from Progress.
That's why I bought full setup.

Low tie bar recommandation.
Skunk2 or Carbing.
Carbing seems the best one because its one piece design.

It's great.
Setup up was soo much cheaper than Neuspeed or Comptech sway/tie bar combo.

Subframe is well built already.
Only thing that could happen , maybe at actual track with some hardcore driving.
Progress subframe low tie bar frame will do most of work opposed to endlinks.

IF you are looking to buy Progress setup, Which is awesome for price they are seling.
I highly recommand you buying new endlinks.

This setup is more than enough for street use.

Do you get any kind of knocking noise from Grey's endlinks? I remember reading his post awhile back on 7thgen working on a way to get rid of it.

It appears that they are Heim Joints, to my knowledge they may get a bit noisy. Side note Ive had Both Progress Sways with stock endlinks for almost a year, and have had no issues at all.

The Carbing brace is similar to the Spoon, but is in one piece. I'd get the Carbing over the Spoon, but Progress over both just because it also mounts to the sway bar brackets.

One complaint with the Progress SWAY is indeed the angle of the endlinks. No matter what you do, the arms of the sway are too long and push the endlinks out to an angle. This, I believe, is why many people have broken endlinks with the Progress rear, though it is only 22mm. I think getting new endlinks is a temporary solution only. It is definitely stronger than stock, but I would have piece of mind knowing there is unnecessary stress being put on the endlinks, aftermarket or not.

I think since there are people that have been able to use Mugen 24/25mm rear sways with stock endlinks (at least on the DC5, haven't seen anyone w/ it on an EP3) and have no problem w/ the endlinks breaking at all. This is also the case for Comptech's adjustable rear sway.

I still like my Progress brace though...though on top of the endlink issue, 22mm isn't cutting it for me.
