Just shopping for new tires and would love to go wider but realize I should've bought a different offset. Will this work or will I be rubbing like mad?

Hmm I've got 225s with +45 offset, but only a 1" drop. I think you should be fine with +40s and 1.5" drop. I wish I'd bought +40s.

what's the width of the wheel? With a 16x7 40 offset you should be fine..

Yup, any hard corners or big bump = rubbage.

Do you know what the OEM offset for the stock rims are? Cause I'm looking to get a set of 18x8" TSW Pace's with 215/40/ZR18 Hankook K104's and I want to know what offset to use so there's no rubbing. Or will the OEM offset work for the TSW's? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
