for those of you who did it, do you guys experience fog build-up inside of the lens after opening it up??? if i seal the headlights good/correctly, will it end up fogging up after some time???

also, is there a certain sealant to use? or any clear sealant will do?

help me out please :)

mine fog when I wash my car. if it is sealed good, it should not fog. black silicone is what you should use.

so what would be a good technique to use to seal it super tight? would it help to put silicone on the pieces before i stick it in the oven? then when i take it out, use some clamps to push down on them for a tight seal? lmk if this is a good technique...

I used the same color gray RTV to seal mine back up.

What I did was:
- Put a bead of RTV all the way around the slot that has some in it.
- Put the back side of the light housing in the oven for 5 minutes so it settles in.
- Squeeze them back together while still warm.

I've had mone done for over a year with no fog problems.
