Hey, about the Tein Basics.. I have a couple questions

1)How low is max drop in inches?
2)Do you need a camber kit? I'd imagine no but.. Idk
3)You don't need replacement shocks because it's a full coilover swap, right?
4)Are they cool?
5)Should I get 19 inch rims with 215/35 series tires?

Thanks!

1) Tein Basic doesn't drop low as what Tein advertises.
I've had Tein SS and i say max drop would be 2"..

2) Depends on drop , but yes I recommand it.

3) Correct

4) Yes, Very cool

5) 215/35/19 would be perfect size to use, 215/40/19 looks too big.

Thanks.

yeah I saw a black Ep parked close to mine at Englishtown yesterday with 19" ADR chrome rims... it was sooo nice. I looked at the tire to see what size rims he was on and it said 215/35/19.. I was like shiiit. and I looked inside and he had the Tein EDFC and I liked the drop. So I want Teins, hah. Thanks

Are you sure? I've got Tein SS with at least a 2" drop all around and could go lower if the ride quality didn't suffer so much.

What's the stock ride height, measured from the wheel center to top of wheel opening?

1) Not sure, but the basics are adjustable. And I have seen some rides that are lowered pretty good. Top of the tire covered by the fendor, so must be more lower than 2.5"
2) You should get the camber kit, cause just about everyone with adjustable coil-overs go more than 2".
3) Shocks are included with it, though you can order replacements from Tein. Or atleast I remember being told you can order new ones when needed.
4) Of course they are cool, but you shouldn't do something because others think it is cool. You should think it is cool, oh young people.
5) 19's, forgetaboutit. Get some 17's :D

Get a camber kit.. it isn't required, but reccommended. I love my tein basic. You won't be dissapointed.
