Hey all. I just installed my new Apex'i exhaust last night. The install was very easy. The sound is awesome - if you don't like it loud. At idle, you can hear the pulsing sound of the header (dcsport) and when you rev, it hums. From what I can tell, you can't hear it in the car, which is awesome. When I passed my 2 friends on the road, they said it sounded great - the best sounding civic ever (we're all used to the sound of the "pepboys" universal exhaust around).
The muffler is stainless steel with a chrome like reflection. The pipes are titanium painted - which took about 1/2 hour of driving to burn it in per say. The tip is engraved with the Apex'i logo and measures about 4" slash cut but to match bumper line. Be aware that it will burn off and smoke will be seen. Don't be nervous.
Performance wise, I noticed a bit. I felt a difference in the low and mid range -the area I lost when I put the header and air intake on. Car feels real good.
I would recommend this exhaust to anyone who drives daily to work and is in traffic or a person who soent want to bother the neighbors or a person who wants a little kick in hp/tq but wants a show piece.
Pictures will be up after I get home from work.
